Personally, I would have to hire someone do to do sales/marketing.
Its just not an area I am going to be anything but bad in. I have many talents but sales/marketing is not one of them. Maybe you can learn to be good in this area but I have tried and it would be a mistake for me.
I love art and code, IMO is because Cursor is really good and AI art is not that good.
There isn't a good metaphor for the problem with AI art. I would say it is like some kind of chocolate cake that the first few bites seem like the best cake you have ever had and then progressive bites become more and more shit until you stop even considering eating it. Then at some point even the thought of the cake makes you want to puke.
I say this as someone who thought we reached the art singularity in December 2022. I have no philosophical or moral problem with AI art. It just kind of sucks.
Cursor/Sonnet on the other hand just blew my mind earlier today.
It is also entirely possible that if we get to AGI, it just stops interacting with us completely.
It is why I find the AI doomer stuff so ridiculous. I am surrounded by less intelligent lifeforms. I am not interested in some kind of genocide against the common ant or fly. I have no interest in interacting with them at all. It is boring.
I love Beauty in the Beast but whenever I have tried playing Wendy's scales to make my own stuff it just sounds terrible.
That is the main problem with all non-12 TET IMO. Making music that doesn't suck is hard enough in 12 TET. Starting from scratch with a scale by Carlos or Harry Partch takes a real musical genius and that is certainly not me. Worst though is there is no road map to follow in order to get better for us mere mortals.
BTW FM7/FM8 VST is the easiest way to play a few Carlos scales.
Any of the python network science libraries can handle a 1000 node directed graph no problem.
Networkx visualizations are ugly out of the box but you can make the network look however you want. The best out of the box visualizations I think are a matter of taste and use case. Same with the layouts.
In a more abstract sense, I think it is hard to not have a 1000 node network visualization not be a useless hairball unless the network is quite sparse.
If you mean with do-calculus though I really have no idea.
The best writing on economics I have ever read is in the book Chance and Chaos by David Ruelle.
Ruelle gives some thoughts on economics but ultimately concludes something like "we don't currently have the tools needed to properly study this subject".
