This is true inspiration. One area of this article struck me... "Herr was a middling student, but consumed math textbooks" and soon "caught the attention of MIT".
I'm so glad my taxes are being used to fund 6 undercover officers looking for a 20 year old buying beer. And seriously, they pull a gun on what they think is a person fleeing, for buying beer. You get the license plate, you go to house.. you don't jump on hood with guns drawn.
I see a lot of negatives here over this.. but here is how I see this workout. You are a person who does work out on a fairly regular basis, but, are thrown 'off course' by a two week business trip, or stuck at a desk coding for hours on end to meet a deadline. This is perfect for that reason.. get in a few good minutes of strenuous activity, recover quickly with a water or shake, and go on with your busy schedule. If you can do this 2 or 3 times a day during that period... the better off you are, nothing scientific about that.
On a slightly different note, this should show how much the Iraq war was a scam and a money grab. Iraq was 'rumored' to have WMD's, and Hussein had his moments of posturing, but never had proven tests of bombs, etc; and never blatantly said NYC would be ashes.
What if I want them to use my pictures in ads... I don't mind! I take a really good picture, and I'm sure Sam Adams would love some of the jolly good times I have with the product in my hand.
Geez, I hope the guy doesn't see this comment. I liked this little blog, at least he is trying, and who knows, he may himself one day start 38Signals, and reveal a really great product. But not if he's deflated.
I'm sure there are more people NOT making things, even simple dashboards, and what a shame that is.
We can do anything, but doubt.
