Wow incredibly interesting read, got me thinking about design principles and the "average user"

Found myself both resonating with a lot of points, and being challenged to consider other questions and possible solutions. Super insightful

This is a really interesting point, I wonder if this will have a similar effect to model poisoning

Combines the strength of AI at summarizing text and easy access to the actual information sources for verification, well done well done!

Definitely a big privacy concern, especially for people like you who aren't using the technology, and haven't consented to giving your data.

But car crashes are the third highest cause of death in the US (https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/leading-causes-of-death.htm). As a society, I think the benefit outweighs the cost in this case, and we can (theoretically) continue to make progress on privacy as a society. Seems like much more of a step forward than a step back to me

Any plans to integrate this with Apple Music or Spotify? I would assume your algorithm would work only with files uploaded to the site, but curious if you had plans to attempt something with Apple Music/Spotify

Love it! Will definitely use this when a quick screenshot will help specify what I am confused about. Is there a way to hide the window when I am not using it? i.e. I hit cmd+shift+' and it shows the window, then when the response finishes reading, it hides again?

My work has 10ish repos we use, looks like this needs to be run in a specific git repo. Is there a way for this tool to run in a parent directory that contains all the repos we use with the same functionality?

Objectivity and honesty can be hard to find if all someone cares about is their reputation as a competent researcher or climbing the ladder. What do you think a potential solution would be for this? I feel like even in my own experience, trying something out and it not working feels like failure, when in fact to proclaim it a success or "fix" it is truly what harms both the endeavor for truth and the people reliant on the outcomes of these surveys

This reminds me of a company my friend used to work for, Ketch [1]. Basically described their service as automation that fulfills this exact requirement on customers databases. Sounds like they were ahead of the game.

Id say i trust the competence of government in this arena more than that of parents on average. If someone is working on policy day in and day out for tech related things, they will have a better lay of the land than the average parent. However, you bring up a good point about ethics. A parent will definitely be far more acting in the best interest of their child compared to the government. An interesting quandry, good point

Wish I could upvote this harder lol. Parents really dont have enough time/energy to do this better than people who are trained in software/legislation. Especially if they have more than 2 kids/are single parents
