Ah man, I had no idea that was the problem, had I known that before I would have substracted myself from the community a long time ago and would have deleted this account. Please don't take this as sarcasm, I mean it 100%.
> Would you please fix this?
No, I'd rather not. Believe me this is how I express myself in real life, if I have to censor myself to avoid the risk of posting "unsubstantive comments" I will choose to stay away from this lovely community for our mutual benefit.

Possibly. Also looks like (almost) all the critical comments towards this article get magically downvoted - seriously check it out. Legit question - what happens when your karma gets to zero? Do you get banned?
Translation: "We are SO sorry that we got caught and that you feel this way about us. Let's see if we can react to this situation fast enough before everyone will start replacing us with alternatives that at least have a better reputation." ... yeah, give me a break!
Absolutely not. They have LIED about end-to-end encryption knowing very well that their product did not support that. That is premeditation, not making a mistake.
Also their atroicious history regarding their privacy practices makes me think that they are now reacting in this way only because they got caught, not due to a genuine desire to be better.
Wow this is bad at a totally different level - it is a new league og messed up.
These companies - and more importantly the human garbage at the upper / top level of management of these companies - need to be remembered and when the global situation will return to normal they will need to be given the treatment that they deserve.
BEING FIRED VIA A PRE-RECORDED MERSSAGE DURING THE WORST GLOBAL CRISIS SINCE THE SECOND WORLD WAR! - talk about being kicked when you are down, huh?
US people, you might already be fully aware of this but your medical system is completely totally utterly fucked if shit like this is even possible. Sort your shit out and come back amongst the civilised countries [from the healthcare services point of view]!
All of the firms in Infosys's field are the running joke of the software engineering world. There is literally not one of them viewed in a positive or even neutral light. And yes, there is a hierarchy of brands in the offshore consulting firm space and the Indian consultancies are the bottom of the barrel.
Dude, you are obviously biased and try to portray the "pure play" companies in a positive light. Stop it, you are not fooling anyone. Stop defending them, those companies are the literal cancer of the software engineering world from the most literal point of view and the people in this thread talking bad things about them are doing that because they have very good reasons to.
The author seems highly irresponsible. You don't just play around with mushrooms that you pick yourself from the woods - and you especially not cook / eat them, without double / triple checking them. When you are in doubt - you simply avoid eating them and taking risks.
What happened to him is 100% his fault and was easily avoidable, I cannot have sympathy for that.
I call bullshit on this article. Ah and by the way - the bulk of the article contents start after the following sentence:
"There are 8 reasons why I personally find Switzerland much better for the fellow Software Engineer: [...]"
This is a PERSONAL OPINION of some random guy.
