Oh man, Ra was fantastic. I love when you learn why magic was discovered in the year it was. It took me ages to correlate the two seemingly completely separate stories going on.
I love Odysseus so much. On one hand I think it sounds amazing and would love the opportunity to play it one day.
On the other, from a technical accomplishment of volunteer work it is amazing! Just the IT work alone. Here's a video I found years ago by one of the volunteers talking about the work they put into the electronics.
Maybe someone here knows a solution. The ONLY thing keeping me on windows is that my employer uses F5/Big IP edge clients. I cannot find a Linux client that can also handle Web SSO. Does anyone have any Linux experience with this?
From the littlei know from a breath holding workshop I did awhile ago (for trying to get into freediving) it's the carbon dioxide build up in our blood that gives us the urge to breath, and not the lack of oxygen. If this method allowed for the removal of carbon dioxide from the blood then holding your breath might not even be discomforting.
While this isn't strictly landing a job, it was Minecraft that got me into Linux (so I could host my own instances on a VPS), and then from there I got into a small home server and stuff I learned from all that helped in my work.
The home server started off as an ubuntu machine that had everything installed manually. During this it taught me about port-opening and reverse-proxy setups. After I had it go down I then learnt about re-setting it all up with Docker.
Several times in my professional career I have used knowledge I gained directly from the setup and maintenance of my home server in my job. It's pretty cool seeing as my homeserver was used mainly for... umm... hosting a large number of linux isos...
