The experiment does not sound too good to me. They had to retrain the formerly decapitated worms. The article does not mention how much faster the "refresher course" trained the decapitated worms.
I agree. Who knows the types of problems we will encounter once AI agents become sufficiently intelligent. We will face unprecedented challenges, even way before AI agents' intelligence gets close to human intelligence.
