Full-stack developer and designer with 4+ years of experience in mostly Java, Python, various RDBMSes and web technologies. Excellent work! I'm really liking the structure board changes, as I had run into some issues with that in the past.
I've used Django CMS for client work and have been very happy - it's all the power of Django combined with a nice user interface for clients to manage their content. It's also very easy to integrate with existing Django sites/plugins.
Anyone working with medium-sized websites and trying to stay away from the PHP world should look into it for their next project.

I remember coming across this GQ story (1) last year about a 2012 face transplant carried out by the same doctor. The writer highlights the ethical concerns of performing such a risky procedure in those who are otherwise healthy (and are now forced to take immunosuppressive drugs for life). I imagine that having such noticeable facial deformities takes an enormous emotional toll, however, and that these transformations would considerably improve the patient's quality of life.

Very happy to hear this. Having visited Iceland last week, I was very impressed with their dairy products in general. Coming from the US, the first morning I opened a small container of Smjör butter I was convinced they had added Yellow 5 to it, but it just seems to be the product of healthy grass-fed cows.
My parents and I left Cuba when I was a child and proceeded to live in various parts of the world before eventually settling in the US. I would like to go back and visit some relatives there at some point, and as a Cuban-born naturalized American citizen I know it is legal for me to do so even currently, but I was informed that I couldn't actually enter Cuba with only an American passport. The Cuban govt requires that I enter as a Cuban citizen, which means obtaining a Cuban passport that costs $200 to renew every 2 years [0]. I'm sure this is mostly just an easy way of extracting money, but I sure look forward to official diplomatic relations being established and hope some of these requirements change -- I don't feel very comfortable entering Cuba as a Cuban citizen and not knowing where my rights end or begin.
Agreed. Especially for the more advanced or less commonly used vim/ed shortcuts, adding them to my general Anki deck was invaluable. I went through "Practical Vim" by Drew Neil and added all the useful shortcuts to the deck, and whenever they would come up for review I would also try my best to put them to use that same day. The card format would be question/answer e.g. "how do you split a window vertically?"
I also used this approach to familiarize myself with the various unix tools I don't necessarily use daily (sed, awk, etc)
