Couple little bugs/notes I noticed: The position titles are appearing twice, and my google seems to think this page is written in Slovak? And keeps offering to translate it...
This raises some really good points! Though I think there is something to be said for a language that is so easy for newcomers to learn and see results.
I agree, it seems to me most people would only want to use one or a small selection of these, so it would be much more useful to have the ability to easily grab a hamburger's code individually.
How is it that "city officials acknowledge that New Orleans simply does not have the resources to enforce this rule — given the 2,400 to 4,000 short-term rental listings on various services", but they had the resources to find those numbers?
I think this article leaves out a major question of whether or not people feel like being social. Some people like talking to people when they have a problem or question, some people have a strong resistance to explaining their problem on the spot to a stranger.
I agree with this. The company has many other ways of expressing their beliefs, but calling the code specifically a form of speech feels like a stretch. Overall I am on Apple's side of this. But while this article makes an interesting argument, I just don't think I buy it.
Why does the percentage of dropouts from an online class matter? Do the issues raised in this article really need to be addressed? There are still so many people benefiting from successfully completing these courses, and learning new information. Do the people who don't, or who try and then give up, really affect the value of the opportunity online education brings?
I agree! It's always disappointing when an invitation to contest a controversial statement outweighs the information they were actually trying to relay. Would love to seem more comments and discussion on clever applications of some of these tools.
I agree, I think this has been happening for several years now. Pop culture fascination with AI has come and gone in waves and I don't believe this wave signals any significant change in the imminence of AI. Seems RS is just grasping for another eye-grabbing story as usual.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more of an emphasis on creating better dashboard. One of the biggest hang-ups I experience as a user is it's too difficult to find and keep windows open for every team that I'm on that has it's own slack address. If I could sign in once and see all of the teams I'm on in one place I would be much more inclined to keep a slack tab open in my browser all the time.
You point out one of my HUGEST frustrations, "either an app takes EVERYTHING they ask for, and noone tells you how exactly they used those capabilities (no api log, no nothing), or you can't use the app". I hate this aspect of OAuth and am so desperate for a simple solution. But I sincerely doubt one is coming-- at least not for a while...

Thanks for creating!
