I would suggest that both meditation and CBT have a similar objective, which is to see reality more clearly for what it is. CBT goes far enough to transform distorted thoughts into more realistic ones. This goes far enough to help you live a happy life in the "normal" sense. Meditation can be used to go all the way to the realization of the Ego/body limited self as an illusory concept. This normally results in a rush of a very clear sense of reality. Which lets all worries, problems, hopes, insecurities etc. collapse into what they really are. A constant play and variation of matter/form/energy/consciousness/god whatever you want to call it. That are just other forms of our "true" self matter/form/energy/consciousness/god, experiencing this variation and play. This gives a lot of room for joy or bliss if you will. From my own experience it takes some practice to keep remembering this reality more and more often.

I agree that the growth is likely to slow down somewhat in 2019. On a years view they produced about 253.000 cars in 2018 and will likely land at 360.000 in 2019. Nevertheless it is still 30% Growth YoY.
I would argue that slow down is mainly due to the nature of the production ramp, which goes exponential in the beginning but is now starting to flatten out. As it flattens though margins should continue to get better. If they get additional factories like the one in China it should reinvigorate the growth rate.
For me the bull story goes something like: they sunk a lot of money building out their very first mass producing production line, making a lot of mistakes on the way. Although they have some quality and service and margin issues people still keep buying their cars, which is the most important. Fixing the margin and other secondary issues is just a matter of time and continuous optimization.
So the most important of Musks hypotheses that people like buying electric cars if they are better in every important category is pretty much proven by now.
The second, that they are able to produce them at a profit is still to be proven, but economies of scale play a big role in that and they are first beginning to really leverage those.
I guess we all have these things in side of us and given the wrong circumstances people let them out. I am definitely compassionate towards Musk, as I for myself have made the experience that stress can bring out very negative sides within you, if you don't stay aware and relaxed to not get carried away of such feelings. It cannot be an apology and hopefully Musk recognizes that it is not his true self acting but stress and anxiety projected on others.
I am pro Tesla but I don't get why they don't compare apples to apples. As if Tesla doesn't know this? And if they know then don't try to screw the comparision in your favor so that you seem better then you actually are.
Yeah, i guess you are right in a perfect market. My hypothesis was that increased buying power leads to more demand. In your case for apples it would allow apple producers to increase prices and raise margins, as long as competitors don't undercut them.

I am wondering often with UBI: if everybody gets a certain amount of money. Wouldn't prices just adapt and everything gets more expensive, and there would be the same divide as before? Similar to Scandinavia where prices are very high. What mechanism could prevent this from happening?
