Time really flies... I paid $2.99 for Pocket Casts on Android in 2011 and $3.99 on iOS in 2014. Glad they are sharing this under MPL. Just a great app.
I have an ESP8266 running a tiny webstack on my local wifi that is wired to a low voltage relay that turns on my hot water heater (tankless). Combined this with a Apple shortcut so I can tell Siri to turn on the device (send a post request to the unit). Basically just a hacked together system to avoid using Homekit. It's been running great for 6 years with no maintenance so no complaints.
Schwab also does not charge fees for new treasury bond issues. I assume this is a loss leader for them and they make back their money in the secondary market.
1) Setup and test your VPN before you go. If you decide to use an IPSec VPN expect it to fail around-half the time (even if properly configured). YMMV
3) Microsoft Translator works well in China and has 2-way text to speech, offline language packs (Traditional and Simplified), and photo analysis / text overlay.
5) Taking a bismuth tablet with every meal to avoid getting sick. Enjoy the street food.
Be civil. Don't say things you wouldn't say in a face-to-face conversation. Avoid gratuitous negativity.
When disagreeing, please reply to the argument instead of calling names. E.g. "That is idiotic; 1 + 1 is 2, not 3" can be shortened to "1 + 1 is 2, not 3."
How does this compare in quality to canvas prints from a photo lab such as Millers/MPix or WHCC? Cost looks to be about equal to a 1.5" canvas gallery wrap from either those shops.
The basic idea regarding vehicle and pedestrian movements is that the system can be entirely pretimed (interval control) or divided up into phases (phase control). The typical idea of operation is that any compatible phases should be able to run concurrently so long as there is time available. During Pedestrian Walk and Clearance time however these phases cannot be forced off or timed out. (Otherwise people could get hit by cars) This limits the amount of time the button can be pressed during a green light and still change the pedestrian signal.
