Sometimes, I’m wondering about the value that a SAAS brings compared to a standalone application.
In this case, it seems that the SaaS part requires to think about user separation, payments, emails, and more. This seems like a lot when the goal is to generate images from some text input.
A small standalone app that generates an image that can be hosted with the article itself would be much easier to do.
With that said, I find it great to have a goal, scope it to a level achievable in one weekend and actually reach it.
