You need good environment, a teacher that can teach and is passionate about the subject, and students to be roughly on the same page. A computer may be used for supplementing some point, but it's absolutely a waste of time and resources to think that you can teach concepts with computers.
Write better software, Firefox is unacceptably slow. If Chrome, Safari and even gulp IE make browsing smooth, then Firefox is doing something wrong. Better fonts won't fix it.
People (junior devs and designers mostly) seem to grossly underestimate the risk of single point of failure. Yeah, yeah distributed, I know... but more of a monoculture problem: most-successful-strain-of-X.
