Agreed, and quite often there was nothing of interest. On the net I can almost always find something of interest or at least interesting enough for me to crap my time away
I hate ads but I live with a few now. I have privacy to some extent. I don't want to give up privacy for ads. As an example, there's no reason Apple couldn't hash the screen constantly to see what videos you're watching, what images you're looking at, who you're talking to (face recognition, text recognition). They own the OS, they can do all of that in the name of serving you ads. Some TVs apparently already do this. And if you don't think they can hash what's on your screen well they already shipped that tech.
So I would most certainly not choose a phone that spies on me over one that has ads. I already have a phone that has ads. Sure I want less ads but not at the expense of less privacy.
In fact arguably, the less privacy you have the more ads you'll get since they'll have more data to target you.
I suspect very few people are the same when they're alone with whoever they have sex with vs when they're with their the parents or their kids. My seductive persona is not something I do around my mom.
And if they had tested the keyboards with any multilingual users they'd have found the new ones are broken. They overloaded the Fn key as the "switch language input" key so trying to do any Fn features like Fn+Right for End or Fn+Down for PgDn now has a 50% chance of changing languages.
Facebook is the worst place to have a metaverse. The metaverse to me is where you get your freak on. Just look at VRChat or Second Life, it's full of people in highly sexualized outfits doing sexual things. I don't want Facebook (or any company) associating my sexual persona with a real name account.
They didn't work for me. I'm super sensitive to microphonics. With the Airpod Pros, every step I took sounded like someone banging a drum in my ear. It's not specific to Airpod Pro's, most headphones that plug into my ears I have that problem (though not all). I wouldn't have even tried the Airpod Pros except I figured if anyone was going to get that right it would be Apple.
Well, they didn't solve it, I sold them and went back to my non-Pro Airpods
