I believe this is likely the case. Can't say for windows 11, but windows 10 (and specifically Windows Defender) would hammer my hdd so hard the entire os would become unusable for minutes at a time
I have a connection that might be considered slow by most HN readers (1~2MB/s) and the new github file viewer has been a blessing. So snappy compared to everything else
even before 2.0 the game was pretty playable and decent, but it's far from everything they promised. RPG aspects are put aside and when I played I felt my impact on the story was less than that of Skyrim missions. The main quest in particular is basically resumed to one option in the end, a lot of side quests are like that, and the factions are very clear "endless enemy" burden. It's not a bad game, but it's a bad role-playing game
I would like to keep a working <email:> tag on my website but doing so seems to attract tons of spam email that goes something like this, or otherwise offers from random web developer conglomerates offering to "better" my website (which I try to keep simple and plain). :/

I believe they're commenting on the fact that the sway Wayland compositor seems faster than i3. Might be due to how Wayland handles frame rendering, but switching between the two I tend to notice a more "snappy" effect from sway
