Hello I am Shoumik - most recently working as a Machine Learning engineer at a software company (Google cloud partners) for 2+ years. I build ML solutions at scale for clients using GCP.
My work centred around MLOps - developing ML solutions and ensuring their continuous success in production. I also worked in the applied research team where I worked on various ML threads like Domain adaptation, generative models, physics informed neural networks etc - leading to internal accelerators and publications.
My recent work revolved around developing GenAI applications that are scalable and grounded in truth and consulting/training customers on integrating LLMs to their existing products.
Additionally, I collaborated with the GTM teams, aiding in problem definition, prototype creation, and planning the path-to-production. Prior to this, I did my Masters in CS from Boston University.
I am looking to make a significant impact in my next role at a young team that is passionate about what they are solving and fostering a growth mindset.
Looking forward to the possibility of connecting soon!
I’m Shoumik, a recent CS graduate with a Master's degree from Boston University. My main focus area is Computer Vision and Machine learning. I am currently working towards a submission for a computer vision conference in a BU research group. I’m looking for my first job in industry and am seeking MLE/DS roles in a fast-paced environment.
- I have good hands-on experience and strong theoretical background in the fields of ML, DL and CV. Been working as a researcher at various AI labs at BU.
- Passionate about building solutions from the ground up and I have a strong desire to to grow and explore.
- A firm believer in first principles based approach. I look for the EASIEST way to solve the problem, not the fanciest way.
- I have experience mentoring rising undergrads at MIT and UIUC for AI research. Would love to work in a similar collaborative environment.
WHY NOT TO HIRE ME:
- I am a recent grad and would need some initial mentorship.
- I am an International student and will need help with sponsorship in the future.
