My son has Down Syndrome and is non-verbal. He's clever though and has found ways to wander off from his school and caregivers. As a parent this is terrifying. Eventually we tried AirTags on his shoes. It's an imperfect technology but it works.

There is a core aspect of hacking/making/doing that Woz demonstrated well and aren't represented by many modern thought leaders in the industry.

So painfully spot-on. My mathematical education was horrible. Meanwhile I had been writing code since I was a little kid. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized how much math I had been learning while programming. And worse, that I had been completely miseducated about what math actually is.
