I didn't read it but the abstract's first sentences sound as if it's rather about "Do the issues neuroscientists face when examining the human brain persist when they examine a microprocessor instead?"
A remote git API, showing me the output of (chained) git commands on arbitrary remote repositories and so allowing me to analyze them (much like GitHub already does for their repositories).
