Again, for those complaining about price - the current (and far less capable) Microsoft HoloLens is also $3500. I've personally used and interacted with the HoloLens and was thoroughly impressed, however the leaps in optics & tracking Apple has pulled off make the Vision Pro quite compelling.

I’ll go out on a limb and say it will be far more popular than people think. I’m ready to preorder one (although perhaps I fall into the enthusiast & early adopter category).

This can’t be compared to other headsets out there, and is rather in an entirely different product category.

Ouch - that would certainly be a significant cost. Regardless, individuals should always have the option to buy a plan on the market. We really need to decouple health insurance from employment.

Dude $1150 per employee is literally nothing. That's less than $100/month, per employee, for health insurance.

Individuals should still have an option to choose a plan on the open market if they desire, but they're highly unlikely to find a plan for $100/month.

While this is a cool concept (especially the suspended, likely over-engineered sleeping platforms), I can’t see sense in the business model with this type of pricing. Cabin charges $120 each way for an 8 hour bus ($240 round trip), while you can get a round-trip flight for less than half that with any of the major carriers ($107 for LAX - SFO, $91 for LAX-OAK RT).

As someone that regularly travels between LA and SF, I would rather fly Delta at half the cost and a fraction of the time. Time is money, and it doesn’t make sense to charge more for an 8 hour bus than an hour-ish flight, especially when the majority of travelers would rather get from point A->B as fast as possible.
