I am not an expert but I think the split will ruin the magic. And if the first split occurs then why not a second one in 2-3 years? I see the split happening as a massive chance for quick cash for the big players( even though I can't prove it with fact, just my guts saying).
I hope I'm wrong and continue living the dream.
Well done. A 5 star game from me(web version). A few features that came in my mind immediately :
- login system for keeping track of my games and score
- ranking system
- a timer for answering a question.
I would go and play safe, make a family, enjoy the wealth and secure your children's future and in the mean time experiment with your ideas since the (spare) money will be there for your entrepreneur adventures. If you are single it makes sense to go and work at Google, but if you are planning for family and a calm and stable life ,the ceo job( an the money that come with that) will secure those, at least for a couple of years. I always go safe, live minimal and put family values first. Good luck!
My definition on φιλότιμο is being nice to all people, especially on those you don't know. Helping them without a return just because you just like to help them.
I think because they where "jealous" of what FB is! I don't think they can bring revenue or at least what they expect. At the end they would transform their product to be more Facebook-ish, like others already do. For me (mid 30s) snap is for teens and I don't think teens can spend a lot of $$ in order advertisers to continue spending money for the users.
I started learning ember because it was fast and cool and it was my first MVC but with a php background I should have played safe and choose a framework I was comfortable. My lesson: play safe and learn something that you would enjoy and not because it's cool.
Make a <insert your favorite language> script that loads an English word dictionary, add .com at the end of each word and curl each concatenated string for a 200 response. This will get you starting. Then you can try with numbers, towns, countries etc. After n days and n GB of bandwidth you'll have your own verified list of domains. I think you'll have difficulties finding such an up-to-date list. Good luck with your search engine(assuming you want to build such one).
So 3000$ for a biopsy: ticket to Greece and back to USA : let's say 1000€. Biopsy procedure if it's ultrasound guided around 300€. Lab fee for examining the biopsy:around 200€ max, maybe less. Hotel room for 2-4 days in Thessaloniki 120€-150€ in a decent hotel. Total:1500€ or even less. All these can be done by highly and well educate medical doctors, treatment in private clinics is very good(since you are paying in cash you always get vip treatment) and o course you can enjoy a good vacation. I always said that medical tourism is the future
Believe me it's not the same, especially at ultrasound where everything it's not clear due external factors an body types. I do this for a living (radiologist)plus I love programming and would like to see those two come together but the reality is different. Ai could assist doctors and suggest possible findings.
Good luck to AI with procedures that require a doctor to search/find/diagnose a small(0.4cm) breast tumor in a ultrasound exam that could actually save the patient's life. AI can be applied(it is actually) in computer tomography scans but in exams like X-ray, ultrasound etc you cannot make it work( at least now).
Also there is legal issue: who is responsible for the diagnose? The computer? The institution ? A doctor? AI in medicine will help us a lot but it's too early!
