Brillant post my friend! I highly recommend people read Das Kapital by Karl Marx. Regardless if you're a communist hater, you should really have perspective about all aspects of your life, the economic system you live in being one of them.
Also this magic resource that you all think is going to save the world will be used just as maliciously as every other commodity that the obsequious puppets of capitalism have gotten their hands on.
No one else has mentioned using a view manager/factory to handle the life cycle of views?
instead of
var view = new SomeView(options);
view.render();
we do
var view = Vm.create('some descriptor', SomeView, options);
view.render();
The factory/manager can do many things! List out active views, clean up all views at any stage during their life cycle, default cleaning methods etc etc
I was put off by the referenced comment the other day and now my confidence is restored. I don't even own a mac...
