No one forced me other than myself - I just don't have the time to focus on two courses and meet the demands of my current employer (which spills over into 50-60) hours per week. I took a quiz that I am sure I failed, and chose to withdraw instead of getting below an A in the class.

I'm not certain that focusing on numeracy tests to assess an applicant is such a great step forward. I get the sense that this will only encourage candidates to "study for the test" and will actually produce more false positives.

Currently developing a Node.js / Express application. The choice of platform was a huge mistake. The brittleness of many of the libraries is indeed amazing.
