Many people said that if your processor support PCID, the performance will not be reduced a lot by the new patches. However, after installing new updates for windows and for my very new CPU 7600U everything becomes extremely slow. My laptop is now literally unusable. Even the simplest tasks are very slow. Before this update I was able to watch youtube videos in 4K, now I'm struggling even to watch 480p... I will never buy Intel processors again. In the last few months I only hear lies from Intel regarding Meltdown, Management Engine and other "holes" in their products. Now I can throw my super expensive laptop in garbage. Thank you Intel.
The problem is that the EU court may force Estonia to any decision they want. This already happend with Ireland - the EU forced them to collect 13 Billions in additional taxes from Apple even if Ireland didn't want to do this.
I just switched to USB-C/Thunderbold and I cannot be happier. I can do absolutely anything with a single port - listen music, connect my monitor, charging my laptop, network connection, connect an external graphic card etc...
As far as I know, Hillary collected 1.2 billion dollars for her campaign. Even if Russians really spend 100.000$ for ads, this should not not make any difference in my opinion, because 100.000 / 1.200.000.000 = 0.00008
Meanwhile, Germany is moving in the opposite direction. Taxes are increasing and now Germany is the second highest taxed country in the world (according to OECD). and freelancers here can't even work without a tax advisers who will manage all their taxes, because the system is so complicated. Mobile internet is extremely expensive. Just one day of using mobile internet in Germany will cost you more than a a whole month mobile internet in Ukraine... everything is very bureaucratic and a lot of paper work is required on every corner. and don't forget, there are more than 300000 laws and rules for everything. I can keep this list forever, but after all, I think I should just move to Estonia, because Germany is definitely not for me.
Cosmos DB from Microsoft Azure seems to be a much better choose, because it provides tons of useful features, but it also compatible with MongoDB, so if they decide to increase prices or shut it down some day, you will be able to use regular MongoDB instead. With Firestore it's not the case and you are locked with a proprietary solution.
Don't use Plivo. It's the worst provider ever. 5 months ago they forgot to renew their domain and all services were unavailable for 2 days. and this was not the first time we experienced such issues with them.
