Off course he will. It's his point. He alreadey stated that it is not the ui that is bad. It's the practice of constantly changing things for no good reason that is bad.
I really like his minimalistic writing style. Wish other authors (especially americans) would follow his example. Not every simple fact needs an anecdote.
I for one hate the drag component in platform games. It makes them always feel very sluggish and imprecise. Most of the Mario games are unplayable for me because of this behavior.
