I've been an Android user since day 1 and had never used an iPhone until about a year ago when my company replaced my work phone (Android) with an iPhone. It took me two months before I realized there is a difference between swiping down from the top on the left and swiping down from the top on the right.
I don't think Android is necessarily better though - I simply have more experience with it.
It's absolutely astounding how far phone call audio quality has fallen in the last 30 years. I'd kill to have routine narrow-band analog POTS phone calls again.
It's amazing how we have forgotten that until relatively recently, the average person's "world" consisted of a 10 mile radius around their village. It's much easier to comprehend that world than the modern world - of course, that's until some invaders come over the hill or sea that you've always wondered "what's over there?"
Perhaps movies could be made with real dialog and stories and not just loud explosions and sound effects that necessitate "great audio" (a highly subjective definition to be sure.)
