While I agree with some of what the author is saying, I don't think the mocking and ridiculing sarcasm are really helping at all. It just makes the author look obnoxious and rude.
Pretty sure that's part of the GNU communications style guide somewhere.
Came here to say Just this, it comes off as bitter and juvenile. No faster way to insure I keep my distance.
The FSF is said to have engaged the services of a PR firm. Hopefully, the style of activistic petulant juvenilia is confined to a narrower band target audience with their help.
