Hi, in no particular order:

    * A free tier that is generous (i.e. 10 minute granularity, 3 sites but no custom domain)
    * REST API monitoring with GET, POST, PUT, DELETE etc and response testing with i.e. regex
    * Ability to host at own domain (i.e. mythingstatus.com)
    * Customize with company logo and colors
    * Add locations and location groups with drill downs
    * Calculate uptime SLA
    * Latency measurement from different geographic locations
    * TTFB measurement and full page load measurement
    * Email notifications for simple downtime
    * Email notifications for thresholds of regressions
    * Embed analytics
    * Watch and report for DNS changes
    * Add a downtime message .. and manually mark the service as down or up
    * Run a script after xx failed health checks
    * Some kind of 1x1px gif pingback that you can put on your custom 403, 404 and 50x pages that tracks how many times these pages were served and collects some information?
    * Cost ... <$5 mo for small business and a much more expensive option for finer granularity (i.e. 2 mins, 1 min and 30 second polling) or something like that. Amazon offers most of these features for $1/mo.

Thank you for your feedback, we will take into account all what you have offered as features, some of your proposals are already included in our service and others are not, but we will work day and night to make our system easy, simple with reasonable pricing.

I’d recommend that you talk to your current customers as a place to start. I’m just tyre kicking and trying to give you some ideas, but actually I’m already fully setup on AWS.

The ability to see into the server/service. Like an alert when disk is almost full or cpu/mem usage is too much.

I want it to have an option to reset my server, if slow for > X seconds

Rather than a feature of the service, maybe this would be a watchdog script that relies on a REST metric from the service.

Either could work -- whatever would take the fewest clicks for the end user.
