What’s the go-to “bible” book in any field that can take someone from beginner to intermediate—in that field, whether it’s programming, gardening, or welding?

For example: Mixology -> Cocktail Codex by Alex Day

K&R C did and might still have that status…. Or, perhaps, the collected works of the Bell Lab authors?

Not sure if by Bible you mean book to avoid or must-read.
