Ask HN: Any good resources for basic cryptography?

currently i work on place where i am dealing with Hardware Security Module (HSM), certificates, openSSL, JCE, algorithm like DES, 3DES, AES, RSA, HMAC, etc...

i want to learn more detail about all of them, so i know how it works.

A book featured on HN several times before is "The Joy of Cryptography" [1]

There's also "A Graduate Course in Applied Cryptography" [2]
