Correct. Minute userbase equals no leverage to extract tolls. If they ended up with the sort of dominant position they had at one point with IE on Mac they'd do this very thing and more.

Mine is a year old, and so far so good, no burn-in. I have the autodimmer on but otherwise it's on all the time, at around 80% brightness. It's been a massive improvement over my previous IPS monitor.
This is the correct analysis. The article's author could have saved themselves (and the reader) a good amount of blind data diving by learning more about exception processing beforehand.
