I've used ChatGPT to help understand medical records too. It's definitely faster than searching everything on my own, but whether the information is reliable still depends on personal judgment or asking a real doctor. More people are treating it like a doctor or lawyer now, and the more it's used that way, the higher the chance something goes wrong. OpenAI is clearly drawing a line here. You're free to ask questions, but it shouldn't be treated as professional advice, especially when making decisions for others.

When I first started learning deep learning, I only had a vague idea of how backprop worked. It wasn't until I forced myself to implement it from scratch that I realized it was not magic after all. The process was painful, but it gave me much more confidence when debugging models or trying to figure out where the loss was getting stuck. I would really recommend everyone in deep learning try writing it out by hand at least once.

I can relate. Most users just want stable, quiet performance improvements, not a revolution every update. Do you care more about performance improvements or new features?

I've had a similar experience. The bigger my social circle gets and the more people I follow, the easier it is to end up surrounded by a single perspective, especially on work-related topics. At first, I thought I was broadening my view, but it turned out I was just reinforcing my existing preferences. Do you make a point of keeping people with different opinions in your network, or do you find it more comfortable to stay in circles where everyone thinks alike?

S3 certainly saves a lot of hassle, but in certain use cases, it really is prohibitively expensive. Has anyone tried self-hosted alternatives like MinIO or SeaweedFS? Or taken even more radical approaches? How do you balance between stability, maintenance overhead, and cost savings?

This situation makes sense since everyone wants quick answers, and AI summaries are really convenient. A lot of people just read the summary without clicking through to the original content. But this can be a real problem for creators who rely on traffic. Does anyone have ideas on how to balance both user needs and support for creators?
