I watched 3 lead-gen tools launch on IH this week. So I killed my own product

The "AI Lead Discovery" market is officially saturated.

Everyone is building a scraper, slapping an LLM on top, and calling it a "game-changer." I know, because I was one of them. We even hit #1 on the Build Board twice doing exactly that.

But here’s the truth: A list of leads is useless if your product sucks or your outreach feels like spam.

I realized that founders don't need more leads. They need a team to help them grow organically and improve their product based on real feedback.

The Pivot: From Scraper to Coordinated AI Workforce

I decided to stop focusing on "finding leads" and started building a coordinated Team of Agents.

Instead of a single bot, Multify now deploys a specialized squad:

• Competitor Analyst: Tells you exactly where your rivals are failing. • Researcher: Finds the influencers actually moving the needle in your niche. • Outreach Specialist: Uses Name/Email to find LinkedIn profiles for 1-on-1 feedback loops (not just sales). • Sales Strategist & Business Consultant: Turning that data into a growth roadmap.

Why organic growth? Because in 2026, the algorithm smells automation from a mile away. The only way to win is to be more human, at scale.

By using our Agent Team to find where your customers are and who they listen to, you stop chasing and start building a presence. We’re using this exact team to prevent churn by finding our users' social profiles and engaging with them where they actually hang out.

The Shift: Lead discovery is now just a background task. The Agent Team is the core.

I’m building this for the solopreneur who is tired of being a "marketing department" and just wants to be a "founder" again.

What do you think? Is the "single-feature AI tool" dead? Are we moving toward "Autonomous Teams" as the standard for 2026?

Curious to hear from anyone else who pivoted away from a saturated niche recently.

Yeah, those selective hits scream custom scrapers or AI data hunters. To track 'em:

- Parse logs: zcat access.log.* | awk '{print $1,$7}' | sort | uniq -c | sort -nr | head -20

Shows top IPs/paths. Whois suspicious ones.

- Add JS fingerprinting (canvas hashing, WebGL) to log real vs headless.

- Bait pages with unique content.

Set up alerts on anomalies. Caught some sneaky ones that way!
