I had this happen about a year ago. OneDrive changed the default path for the Documents folder to the one you mentioned above, but I only noticed it when I wasn't able to find some files in the Documents folder. It turned out that some files were being saved to the default path C:\Users\username\Documents. So I tried to move the Documents folder from the directory made by OneDrive back to the default one, but it gave me an error. Then I tried to fix it in the registry, but there were quite a lot of different entries for the default path, and I wasn't able to figure out which one I should change or remove. In the end, I had to reinstall Windows. Now each time I install Windows on any PC, the first thing I do is remove OneDrive.

Unfortunately, this problem somehow happened again on my current Windows installation. Maybe I forgot to remove OneDrive this time, or it was automatically reinstalled during some update.

Out of interest, I opened link with this json file and scrolled till the end of it on a very cheap Android tablet from 2012 with Allwinner A10 (One 1GHz core) and 512mb of RAM, using lightweight Via browser without much trouble.

My father had been using a laptop he got in 2011 (I5-2410m) until a few months ago when I bought him a mini PC with an Intel N95, he didn't even want to switch because for the most part everything worked pretty well and why wouldn't it? The i5-2410m is faster than the Celeron N4020, which is commonly found in many ChromeBooks and budget laptops today, and the i5-2410m wasn't even the best mobile processor back then. Many cheap laptops today are also limited to a soldered-on 4GB of RAM, but most older laptops can be upgraded to 8GB.

I have several other laptops from 2011 which are even weaker (One with I5-560M (upgraded from 380M for 6$) and other with I3-2310M) and they are also mostly fine for web browsing and office, and capable of playing 1080p YouTube video even without hardware acceleration (they don't have VP9 decoding),with H264ify CPU usage drops to 30-40 percents.

With progress in semiconductors slowing down i would expect laptops to last even longer, but with manufactures soldering down RAM and sometimes even SSD maybe that won't be the case. Cause if i wouldn't be able to replaces HHD with SSD and upgrade RAM on these old laptops they would be garbage long time ago.

I paid 390 USD (excluding taxes) in 2019 for my phone - Xiaomi Mi9T Pro, I'm from relatively poor country, so i personally wouldn't pay 700 for a phone, it's a pretty high price for me. What is more interesting actually, is that Fairphone 5's SOC have the same performance as Snapdragon 855 in my at this point 4 years old phone, which is also cheaper. Accoring to GsmArena performance of Qualcomm QCM 6490 used in Fairphone 5 comparable to the Snapdragon 778G which has the same score in GeekBench 5 and Antutu 9 as Snapdragon 855 [1]. At least it has 2 more GB of RAM (my phone has 6)

Maybe it's a bit sad that there isn't that much progress lately (compared to early to mid 2010s), but it also means that i will be able to continue to use my phone for several more years without much problems (Except for Android updates, but I already have custom ROM installed).

Google Maps has a function to view older panoramas - "See more dates" button at the top left.

You can install extension like "I don't care about cookies". AdBlock I'm using has this as a build in feature you can enable.

Get DNS service with ad blocking, like NextDNS. It's pretty easy to set up, I'm using it on my Android phone and iPad. It's free for up to 300,000 queries per month (I've never exceeded this limit, for reference I made 100,000 queries on my phone this month). It also has a lot of configurability (You can select specific blocklists, whitelist sites and etc.). It's not as good as a dedicated AdBlocker like UBlock Origin , it won't be able to block YouTube ads for example, but it's far better than nothing.
