Bitcoin is not worst then the government or companies in general when it comes to the environment... maybe we need a bigger target. One example: https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/14427364 (and you know that Japan has a LOT of contaminated water stored).
I think that this title (100 Salesforce employees work in its 61-story HQ) represents the reality more accurately (ie: this is not a successful return to the office when there used to be thousands of employees in that building).
Some distros are far less buggy then others... IE: I don't have any issues in Arch, but I did with Manjaro (often there was bugs that prevented updates to complete successfully).
