We have a pretty big e-commerce scraping project, and we don't really run into many problems regarding blacklisted ip's. There are a few sites who we get consistent bans from, but with elastic ip's it's pretty much a non-issue. I have yet to see a site that ban's all amazon ip's.

Apple has gone after jailbreakers? Thats news to me. Geohot has hacked (as far as I know) almost every iDevice Apple has put out, but Apple didn't take him to court because of it.

Why does everything automatically float to the top? It doesn't seem very usable if I can't place things where I want them.

Assembla. Lots of project management tools and source control all wrapped into one service. Theres a few things I'd change but it gets the job done.

Set top boxes are flaky? I've had quite the opposite experience. These have been the fastest, most responsive STB's I've ever worked with. Kicks the crap out of the Time Warner boxes.

This is pretty awesome, can't wait to try it out. The current minecraft server is such a memory hog and can be sort of hard to run a decent server on a small VPS. I wonder how this version compares.

Google accounts act like an openid/oauth account. Lots of sites have a "log in with your google account" option.

I think Notch's biggest way of combating piracy right now is his price point. The game is only $13 USD and has endless amounts of playtime and creativity.

Time and time again, all these big publishers keep putting out big name titles with only 8-16 hours of gameplay for 60$. No wonder their games get pirated...

I believe that is the SD card notification, which the tablet has. It shows up whenever you put an SD card in or take it out or hook it up to the computer via usd. Anything regarding cell phone stuff is displayed next to the battery icon.
