I wouldn't blindly trust a brand new author in 2026, but it's very easy to trust an author that has put out good writing in years past. Not hard to find, there has been plenty of great books written after 2023.

New authors however will certainly have to earn trust for a few years now I think.

It's similar with music, if someone puts out their first album in 2026 and has no singles or EPs, no YouTube presence, etc., it's probably slop. If they have a body of work that goes back a few years, easy to trust.

Pretty much described what MSFT is trying to do with M365 Copilot. It's "secure", it can be deployed in GCC tenants, etc. It may not be a dedicated private server exactly, but they believe it is private enough.

Am I crazy? MSFT has was up about 100% in the prior three years before 2023 as well, and again for the three years before that.

AI has had very little to do with MSFT growth. Pretty sure the 2023 lows were a response to the massive AI spending, and the recovery mostly due to continued Azure services growth.

I don't think MS value has been inflated by AI, if anything it's value has decreased from it's AI investments. MS has mostly been on it's same growth path for the last decade.
