Indeed. Instead of seeing it all the time and getting unhealthy due to this, i would only get it when I think about it.

We never had what we have today:

Fast communication about every topic including religion.

Riches like modern houses, a high standard of lifing for a lot (no war in Germany or food shortage for 50? Years).

When Im done with my high paying job Im done and due to me being so small I do question why do I work? For what? What is my goal in my life?

It is our zeitgeist. I have seen much more philosophical life questions asked in tv shows and movies as well.

There was also a very disturbing and hitting closer than expected south park episode were Kyle? Saw everything as shit.

When you could do everything but everything stops mattering what do you do?

Germany had once 60mil and is now at 80mil.

What's a good number for a country though besides having more kids for protecting a retirement?

Huh? There are plenty of binary incompatiblies.

Alone x32 to x64.

Lots of dependency resolution going in under the hood of it as well.

I have a 40 hour contract.

I could reduce my hours official and getting the percentage amount less.

I try to reach 40h.

I cat follow your argument? Should u just start stealing because no one is controlling me?

There should always be something to clean up, automate, make nicer or learning about something business relate (can be Technologie).

We have headcounts or we had no more budget for one person more. So I would prefer this headcount to be filled with someone good and working 40h because if you work 20 I could try to get someone else additional doing the other 20.

Is is so much different in all other companies or why is this brought up so often?

Ah boy sounds awesome for him.

I like his blogs and books. Always looking at performance analysis and getting down to the issues myself whenever I can

I also thought about what I'm looking for my home and having the ocean close feels something I would really like. Primarily due to it always being in motion and active.

I think that's something which would help me to calm down mentally (adhs ).

Good for him that he can go home. I haven't found a good way achieving this in Europe. I'm in Germany and thought about going to Italy or franche countryside. Next to fiber Starlink could help here as well.

Luckily my company will allow working remotely after corona and thanks to corona I know that I can do it as well.
