There are a historical handful of fortune 500 CEOs that didn't start out with immense wealth.

No matter how easy it is, I believe that success is more dependant on staying in line with the existing network than any real merit.

Unfortunately the market value of a handjob from a non millionaire is closer to that of a big Mac than it is a C level position.

Have a look at how the CEOs get their position in the first place; it's more of a network of people using their current positions to extract money while jerking each other off. It's not really a question of market effect or competence, it's more that if you try to find someone who asks for less and isn't in the network, the existing powers sink the stock price, buy shares and appoint a highly paid buddy to solve the problem they created in the first place.

The most common thing we hear about aborigines is either "project delayed because ancient dump discovered" followed closely by "Aboriginal focused government program is expensive and ineffective". The most common attitude would be indifference, followed by a general irritation if something Aboriginal related "gets in the way". Racism is hard to measure, it's fairly common, but most often taking the form of condescending paternalism, rather than actual negativity (not that this does not exist, but it's a tiny proportion).

Its kind of a false equality. European remains are interesting because they are from a point that the people grew past, a flash in our culture. Aboriginal artifacts are equivalent to aborigines when they were encountered (even as they are now to an extent). I can go look at an Aboriginal, they are nothing special, there is no mystery to their leavings.

There is a huge space between cli everything and pre-infested walled garden. I have always felt that there should be more visual differences in the standard newby frendly tools for linix. Many problems would be avoided with a basic graphic interface.

At one point there was a huge filtering effect on who got into the best schools, if you start with and concentrate top performers you get good results no matter what; and can set a faster pace in addition. The proportion of legacy and diversity students (combined with the national push for a reduced emphasis on objective testing) completely eroded this.

Not only are the students of less quality, the pace has to match the bottom, so they don't fail out all the special entries.

Sometimes you find a problem or a region for improvement that can be clearly defined and self contained, then given to an engineer or small team to work on until it's done. Some areas have more of these potential problems than others; in robotics adjacent companies they are more frequent than finance (in my experience).

Not everything is best managed by agile.

In large or complex arrangements the share might never be sold, instead being used as leverage or as part of more complex tax avoidance strategies. Far better than a dividend.

Probaby just a simple way to renove standard clickbait formats; I think in this case "The effect of rate hikes on the economy" would be the desired title.
