There are certainly mechanical and electrical challenges to building really reliable robotic systems with 98%+ uptime 24/7 in a logistics or manufacturing setting, but it's mostly applying good best practices and design for those engineering disciplines. Sensors and actuators can still be a challenge in some settings for sure. I think many of the really difficult (and fun) problems today are in the software. Even traditional automation shops used to basic PLC programming are starting to recruit and grow software engineering teams.

Wow guys well done! It's a ripe area for disruption and I hope you can find the right formula for growth. I'm a homeowner for 5 years now and finding good contractors for small projects has been miserable, every single time. I actually took on a similar model to yours but for custom metalwork, with Fit to Forge (https://fittoforge.com). There's a huge quality problem and crazy pricing ranges. A lot of the good craftsmen would prefer being able to stay in their shop and build.

Regardless of whether a facility's association may be known or not, government folks are trained on good "OpSec", or operational security.

Very cool! Smart to automate part of the rendering service. That can take a ton of time manually. What's the experience been like for users to upload floor plan and photos? Any best practices or lessons learned you could share?
