Bingo. I, for one, am loving this phase of enjoying the LLMs at the expense of VC money. Just like how I enjoyed cheap rides and deliveries on Uber. And with the fragmentation in the field, I don't see a monopoly coming up.
Also, the "open your app store to competitors" was just bullshit, eyewash, cop out. The apps on these "alternative app stores" still need to jump through all the hoops, pay apple development fees, get approved etc.
Aaron Swartz (RIP) must be rolling in his grave. F** Reddit. At this point I only visit the old reddit. Once they block it as well, I am never going back.
