We're a varied group of go-getters who are all passionate about reimagining the way women shop and dress for work. We have a validated market and die-hard fans, a quickly growing revenue stream, and a whip-smart and energetic team. We take our work (but never ourselves) very seriously. We’re data obsessors who like nice clothes. We truly believe we can do it better and faster and smarter and have more fun. They are one of the faster growing e-commerce companies!
What will you do?
Herein lies your opportunity:
* Build an integrated CRM, marketing, and sales system with a combination of custom and third-party tools. Take our proven customer data-centric sales model and make it more efficient and scalable.
* Define product and choose technologies as we grow, starting with a “free the data” architecture overhaul.
* Help hire a team of engineers, both in-house and contract.
What skills do you have?
* Know PHP backwards, forwards, and upside down. MySQL, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, too. Magento? Great!
* Be good at (or ready to learn) commerce platform management and development.
* Love the entire stack, from devops to cross-browser styling to A/B testing marketing campaigns to internal tooling.
* Desire to set the foundation for an awesome engineering culture and help build the team.
* Be excited about analytics and data-driven decisions.
* Appreciate UX and the designers and engineers that make it possible.
* Heart startups—you like flexibility and ownership; you move quickly and (sometimes) break things; you appreciate process, but don’t mind if it doesn’t exist sometimes.

At Olo we run an online food ordering platform used by many of the country’s largest restaurant chains, reaching millions of consumers through branded mobile apps and ordering websites. We are seeking an experienced security engineer to help us maintain our excellent security track record. You would be collaborating closely with all development teams and across all services.
Your responsibilities would include conducting internal and external penetration testing, advising engineers and other employees on secure designs, reviewing and testing new releases for vulnerabilities, hardening our hosting infrastructure, and monitoring for malicious activity. You would be involved throughout the development lifecycle from design to production. You would help Olo maintain compliance as a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider.
Requirements
* In-depth knowledge of cryptography, OWASP vulnerabilities and the PCI Data Security Standard.
* White Hat penetration testing experience using a formal methodology
* Deep, low-level knowledge of network security (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, HTTP)
* Experience with both Windows and Linux servers
* Proficient at automating tasks in the scripting language of your choice
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with AWS will be beneficial
About Olo
Olo reaches millions of consumers by powering mobile and online ordering for many of the country’s largest restaurant chains. Mobile ordering and payments is an exciting and active industry full of interesting players and yet still a relatively untapped market ripe for disruption.
We’re quite up-front about the technical challenges our business faces. Running a platform with multiple white-labeled front-ends, that maintains real-time connections into thousands of restaurants’ POS systems, and coordinates complex transactions between these and other third parties (such as payment gateways and gift card providers) is not for the faint of heart!
Olo is located at 26 Broadway in the historic Standard Oil Building, the former home of John D. Rockefeller. We offer great benefits, such as 20 days of Paid Time Off, paid health, dental and vision care, stock options, a generous maternity/paternity leave plan and perks like FitBits, rotating craft beers on tap in our kitchen, and food events featuring our clients' menu items (now you know why we give out FitBits!).
Aaptiv is the fastest growing mobile fitness app on the market with over 150,000 paid subscribers in less than 18 months of business. We are the only app that turns your phone into an on-demand fitness studio with all your favorite classes and music. That drive you feel to run, push, or pedal harder in a class or when working with a personal trainer? Aaptiv recreates the experience by synchronizing the voice of a trainer with a playlist of all the music you love, to deliver fun and motivating guided workouts straight to your earbuds.
Software Engineers at Aaptiv are responsible for developing across the stack- everything from our client APIs to our search and recommendation systems. In this role, you'll work side by side with Product to craft new features that our users will love. You'll use your experience in API design and build RESTful services as you help develop our system architecture.
We believe the best products are built by teams that collaborate, not by individuals. Our engineers make a significant contribution to the why and how of the products being built. This particular role will be pivotal in the next phase of Aaptiv's engineering growth. You will have an opportunity to make a huge impact on our success.
We are looking for engineers with the following skill sets:
-5+ years of full-stack engineering experience on large-scale applications
-Experience designing, building, deploying and monitoring services
-Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js and SQL
-Experience with a Node web framework such as Express or hapi
-Familiarity with automated testing and build systems
We are building a fitness platform that enables us to develop long-term and personal relationships with our users based on their data profiles. By analyzing user behavior patterns, we are able to both create and recommend content customized to specific fitness levels and interests.
I would like to tell you more about the opportunity and talk about the things you love to build. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]
