We’ve all felt it—vibe coding. That flowy, no-rules, just-you-and-the-AI kind of dev experience. You’re not following a spec, you’re just…vibing your way through the code. Fast feedback loops, zero overthinking, building by instinct.
But here’s a thought: if we can code by vibe, why can’t we analyze data the same way?
That’s what we’re working on. End of July, we’re launching Powerdrill Bloom — a vibe-first data analysis tool.
It’s made for people who think in questions, not queries. Who want to explore data like they’re having a conversation, not writing SQL.
A few things we’re excited about:
Ask questions in plain English and follow your curiosity — no setup, no syntax.
Explore multiple paths at once in a canvas-style space. Think messy but productive.
Get smart, AI-suggested questions so you don’t start from zero every time.
We’re calling it vibe data analysis. Like vibe coding, but for making sense of data.
Great idea and impressive work! We recently released the open-source MCP server for our product as well. If possible, I'd love to kindly ask if you could consider adding our project to your list:
"To do a thing young is a shortcut to greatness. Everything you do right is evidence of your great potential, and all your mistakes are the mistakes of inexperience, which will be corrected, surely, by the passing of time."
--Missing those days... Every mistake I make will be forgiven... The pain as a grow-up grows as I age. Responsibilities never fade.
