I would love to have something like this I used itermocil when i was on macos, that was limited to iterm windows. On Linux, I have been playing/exploring with Hypr but without much success so far.

I’m using the caps unlocked CU7 every day; that’s how i discovered it : same frustration as yours!

( then i jumped onto otholinear keeb and now I’m not even bothered by apple anymore and run omarchy on a second hand thinkpad. Same excitement as when i got my first powerbook in the early 2000s…)

it seems we all will slowly learn to live within new contexts; i really appreciate their openness about it and it gives me insights to munch on thanks to you all also to ring in with dev-style annecdotes (i'm stilllearning everyday, and hope to continue for a long time): those big-prs and tactical tornadoes stories are helping keep the crafts and thinking afloat, somehow.

That thought now reminds me of the ibm accounting machines and their punch cards… Not a great perspective.

Or trying to… given the performance of this release.

I bet though internal tools are more efficient.

The few tests i ran i just got Granite4.1 tell me about YOLO repeatedly for no reasons; every questions and prompts were answered with a mention of a vision system unrelated with the task…

Probably just a matter of time, it’s possible the friction will create opportunities. Something in the spirit of iaPresenter, md first would be awesome.

At the moment i have long html page with key event for next and previous, tiny script to check on specif markup for autoscroll.

I just did! Warmly encouraging you to try it out! Managed to put Omarchy on an external ssd on my old macbookpro 2019; rarely booting in macos now. Long time i haven’t enjoyed using a computer SO MUCH!

I second cal! Also I find bsdmainutils’s calendar quite amazing in its simplicity

Why i posted this: I'm deeply touched by this extreme simplicity. All you need is a text file and you can get all your incoming events in the terminal. Quite naively and with the help of AI, I'm building a bash script (as a quick proof of concept) to integrate this radical simplicity with some contemporary .ics files. Maybe you get some inspiration from this as well.

With Masonry and using the bin packing algorithm/layout, according to your visual requirements, you can (should?) use a system for sizes for the sizing element and get different widths for the underlying columns of the ‘grid’; ie: if the sizing element is a quarter of base width, you scale down some of the widest image to bring more homogeneity-or on the contrary balance it with some enlarged elements that brings some rythm.

Edit: doc has this first example https://masonry.desandro.com/layout that you could use but have to imagine images to be twice the size, similar to a Müller Brockmann grid

Oh. The irony.
