More reasons why a global search monopoly is suboptimal. Smaller markets like this are just going to get neglected and maintained just enough that a better alternative can't compete. Google search is basically useless for any language other than English.

Elementary school these days actually put a lot of focus into making sure kids are used to the basic mechanics of using computers (typing, mouse-clicking etc...), which is all you're gonna at that age anyways.

If the phone is broadcasting the public key couldn't some malicious actor simply send the wrong location? Also couldn't they simply put it in a faraday bag or wrap in some tin foil?
