yeah i have this. didnt officially verify but i noticed that theres a direct correlation between hours i am in bed and how rested i feel, even if i feel like i spent the time awake. So i stopped specifically worrying about whether i’m asleep or awake and instead focus on enjoying the break
I’m not in the same place, but I do find it still surprising at age 40 you can flail around randomly in a city and discover entirely new areas of life that fully captivate your interest. The other day someone invited me to join a math club and now it’s my favorite part of my week. I hadn’t thought about math since I was 15. but that’s example one of dozens. not that anyone’s asking, but I think if anyone isn’t feeling satisfied they can easily try very random things and find some satisfaction and that’s what I would recommend
Compare to Twitter which has reduced the differentiation between a long form article and an unsourced image and you’ll find that Google News is nevertheless much superior to any other way to get information (though twitter was superior last year!)
Hah, I actually finally started using Google News after 10 years because it looks like Twitter 2023 is effectively completely broken for news. I was grateful that at least we could revert to 10 years ago, now our current best mechanism of finding truth
