A few years back, Citymapper launched a bus line in london where the route was defined based on the amount of data they had about desired paths from their users that were badly covered by the existing network. https://citymapper.com/news/1800/introducing-the-citymapper-...

I didn't follow closely but it looks like the project got canceled, as https://citymapper.com/smartbus returns a 404.

As always, it depends on what style you're talking about. For mainstream EDM? Sure I won't fight your figure. But for underground techno (among many others), you're delusional if you think the majority of djs play pre-recorded mixes.

While I agree with the general sentiment of your comment, the specific example you used is not really relevant: MrBeast is not on twitch, and his revenue comes from youtube ads and brand partnerships. He also has 'classic' merch and several companies (burgers, chocolate bars), but he doesn't bring in any money from subscriptions/donations the way twitch streamers or onlyfan creators do.

Just because you know exactly what you mean (which in itself could be questioned), it's just ridiculous to expect anyone else to.

FWIW where I'm from and in my social circles, the other two religions get joked about way more.

Unfortunately the Overwatch system has been disabled for years, and we currently have no reason to think it will be reopened for CS2.

I take this opportunity to share this great talk about Valve's usage of deep learning to fight cheating in CS:GO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTiP0zKF9bc

Some context: one of the most important skills to master in CS is "counter-strafing", aka stopping your current movement at the right timing, to have perfect accuracy when shooting. If you're currently strafing right, you have to lift your finger from D and tap A before being able to shoot accurately.

Recently, some hardware manufacturers included features at the firmware level to make this automatic for you: if you currently have D pressed, and just tap A, the keyboard will stop pressing D for you, even if your finger is still on the key. There were a lot of discussion withing the community, and the professional scene, about whether or not these hardware features should be allowed or not, as they remove a big part of what's needed to actually master movement in the game.

Yesterday, Valve stepped in and decided that they wouldn't allow these features, kicking you from servers if you're detected to use them. At initial release it looks like false positives are possible as many people reported getting kicked without using them, but this should be fixed soon. Another issue people have is that they effectively also banned "jumpthrows", aka binds allowing you to throw nades perfectly everytime, a feature that had been allowed (and even somewhat implemented by Valve themselves) for years.
