I have ADHD and the only way it works for me is to use adblocker, disable all video, save the article to zotero if I want to read it in first pass.
I have a set designated time period to read news and never use internet for information outside that period. I disable internet and read only my saved zotero articles one after another until I'm done.
Rules are essential to not let this attention economy businesses ruin your life if you have ADHD.
I spent several weekends in school trawling through second-hand bookshop backrooms trying to find MIR books in that cloth bound thick paper versions..I still have the I F Sharygin book on plane geometry I found that way.
It's not about ability though, they can do all that and some more. It's about focus, they're so large, they might not focus and react and change quick enough like the smaller players with inferior technology might.
This pattern plays out all the time in the tech industry. You think google didn't know how to make a website like facebook? Of course, but they couldn't beat a much smaller weaker opponent even then. Google now is about 8 times larger than Google 2011 and much slower.
Unless you already have a team with expertise in Scala, I don't seen the point.
