Recession kicks in. Huawei able to do 7nm...but the bulk of chip sales are at 14nm+. China in 2022 end has successfully dominated that market near 80%. The pre-order for Huawei mate 60 already reaching 10m+ just a week ago and projected to reach 60m by 2024 end. Meanwhile China pretty much banned iPhone "subtlely" by forbiding their government servants using that (which can translate to around 100m people if you read between the line meaning ccp members). The euphoric news sensations are mostly CIA Uncle Sam propaganda. If you go into labor market or ask any HR the picture aren't as rosy as what you read on the media. Also, I have very reliable source China already at 3nm just yield is very low for mass market production. They should be able to reach that around Dec 2024 though TSMC probably will announce their 2nm. So 2025 is when China on par with TSMC making the war inevitable around 2026 as many fengshui masters calculated large chaotic event in that year.

CEO pay is adjusted based on another CEOs in the market. Since every board members has already markup their CEO pays higher and then higher, the increases are what you see today for CEO pay. Not every CEO skills at Steve/Tim/Jensen but they all delude themselves by paying high, hoping they will eventually get Elon-quality CEO into their company and make their stock the next Tesla-NVIDIA-Netflix. Most of the time, they get Stephen Elop type of CEO, unconsciously destroying company in the name of strategic stakeholder value maximization (MBA lingo). Now what about workers? The good one will just hop away. They then will tell everyone "no one is replaceable" and then go on to mis-hire even more incompetent or noob staff in. Or they will outsource it just like Dell and others during Bush Jr time.

What they need to do is to publicly disclose the performance of their CEO. Have CEOs rated by staff and publicly distribute this info worldwide. They also need to implement clawback dating as far as a decade depending whatever products they in charge during their tenure. And lastly, always put full jail offenses directly on CEO without any plea bargain. Not doable? Then workers need to get retrenched as they rightly deserve it when they didnt bother to hop away.

You do know that Fed will give the interest collected to Uncle Sam directly. The main downside is debt is a built-in timebomb to destroy economy when condition is "ripe". Now seems to be so for USA, weak military (defeated by Talebans, Russian shovels destroyed EVERY single American high-tech including rumored downing 2 F35s in Syria), dedollarisation due speed-up by alternatives Brics and cryptos, high-unemployment and recession, lack innovations and unable to manufacture goods (China at least able to build 7nm,nowhere in USA land able to build such), superb incompetent leaderships in centuries for USA. I am netflix and chill on this Dalio-predicted world event.

Same thing happened in China. Just the last 5 years we have seen how incredible productive and industrial China is. Able to completely manufactured their own chips while USA had to rely on external allies. Just on the hypersonic missile production along by on some analysts estimate, China avle to outproduce entire NATO combined by at least 25 to 1 ratio. The same already seen happening today when Russia alone can outproduce artillery shells about 6 to 1 what USA and EU can produce combined. I believe we are in the middle of world event witnessing something like destruction of Spanish armada (or now more aptly to say American armada) being played out in coming years.

That is basically correlation implying causation. Deflation has been happening with China mass producing cheaper goods than western world able to. My dollar able to purchase way more Nokia knock-off phones and yet my pay decrease during the same time. Yeah USA is experiencing decrease in aggregates demand. Economics are just number statistics fitting whatever school of economists decide to be. So many contradictions of theories in economics so bad that some have to actively attack the other schools (Misses? Chicago? Keynes?).

Think of it like guns. In the east, children don't touch guns that easy as Americans. So you not going to hear about accidental gunshot in the east no matter how stupid or how genius you are as Asian. In America, that is a normal annual statistical happenings. Fentanyl is like that. There are many incidents paper money laced with fentanyl where you touch it, you get fentanyl overdose. You almost can argue it seems foreign agents are slowly decimating American people to soften the take over with immigrants.

This is how foreign agents able to slowly destroy America. It is the people that make a country and not the land. Unalive the native and flood it with "specific" immigrants. Given how incompetent America congress is for the past 3 decades, we are seeing the beginning of fall of Rome unfolding in our lifetime. What a time to live in. Is like given a chance to see destruction of Spanish Armada or sack of Rome....defining moment in history of any fall of great superpower.

Mostly due to supporting American stand of sanctioning Russia for Zelenskyy and partially sanctioning Chinese companies. In short, they did it to themselves. As for their citizens, I would say they are getting what they voted for (or didn't do any unalivement when some of those voted leaders betrayed their interest).

They rely on a few assumptions that seems universal to living organism on earth. One basic one is if that org live long enough on earth, their body composition of c14 should roughly match earth. This "long enough timing" can be short as few months to years depending on which part of the body you sample the dna for analysis. Is it definitive no. It is even accurate enough to be admissible in court very similar to lie detector. But the science and statistics analysis around it are very solid and well develop that for some people it is good enough for a guesstimate than just mere gut estimate. Of course if those aliens travel to earth from their home world and immediately die, then the c14 ratio will be off. But then again given so many things we don't know, some trade-off and assumptions needed. We revere Newton even though his formula is way way wrong when we discovered Eibstein relativity. Yet, we all still use Newton good enough formula in our day to day physics. Same with C14 even if it is used for this ETs.

If you visit Texas universities 5 years ago, there are many China students there. Their PhD candidates are mostly non white and non Americans. Fast forward today, these have significantly drop. Foxconn had to shutdown their silicon plant because of severe constraint skilled labor. Also, China has just mass produce all the lucrative 14+ nm at a fractions pricing which have started to decimate American revenue income in that market. Already many tech workers in Cali unable to find jobs after layoff 6mths ago. Good luck if Texans able to defy all these ecobomics fundamentals and achieve boom. I know solar and Solyndra failed badly. Even Tesla energy divisions now start to fizzle out.

USA lacks workers in those fields. So the problem is really "how to discover new twchnical expertise labor" to extract those lithium. It is same thing with solar and now silicon chips in USA.

Russians still use ruble, usd, rmb, yen, rupees and barter trade EASILY. Half the world trade data now gone dark. Just go read up Russians still working with Japanese on the oil rigs there. Chinese banks still trade with Russians. Gold still flow thru international market from Moscow thru China thru India thru any buyers even if he is sitting next to Biden. Get a friend who lives in Moscow or any cities in Russia. They are not facing sanctions starvation. They actually having economic boom right now. Their supermarkets are actually fully stocked. While my local walmart store closing down due to thieving.

With China coming up decimating many USA companies in eastern side, all these doesnt matter much. Do you matter what happen to Japanese or German companies? Bankrupted and outcompete by Chinese companies in the last 5 years? Well same thing now happening to many American companies on that side and European too. So having American companies splitting up at this point would give the Chinese side even more advantage to outcompete with way stronger resources in Brics.

Just make life harder for singles but way better for married couples especially those reaching having children stages. Higher taxes for singles. No subsidies for expensive homes. No benefits. Reduced healthcare.

Singapore solved most of those problems decades ago. Essentially: 1. Force children to take care their aged parents. 2. Entice children to buy housing close to their parents. 3. Ensure priority of children living within close of a school to get into that school. 4. Massive subsidies for childcare. Bigger subsidies for working parents and little for those stay home mum dad. This is to avoid situation in the west where you get free money the more unemployed and children you have. 5. Baby bonus tied to the more children you have. Bonus is locked in a special account with very special and limited use for children needs (hospitals, childcare, school fees). Unlike the western countries baby bonus which parents can redirect to buy TV for themselves. 6. Build clusters of community close to each others with facilities to promote society integration. 7. Allowing low cost domestic helpers from neighboring countries with low wages or unemployed. Unlike western countries asking for equal living minimum wages to wrongly think on citizen would rather be domestic helpers or laborer. Use market force to ensure workers able to change jobs as they like to force employers to increase salary to retain workers. 8. Improve low cost healthcare access (though Korean doing this better). 9. Tightly control property market which dont contribute to national productivity. Ensuring everyone has a home and not hoarding homes to bid up prices (one of the downfall of Japan in 80s because allowing overinflated property....Korean and China seems to following Japanese route which can tie up monthly child support money for servicing debts). 10. Superb public transport and highly subsidies transports to ensure the poor can be as mobile as those rich within country. 11. Encouraging more willing to give-birth-foreigners as citizens to damp down arrogant locals of just want to enjoy being singles. 12. Actively tie subsidies with willingness to start family and having more babies throughout every facet of available subsidies. For example subsidies depends on number of households in a home rather than per individual citizen.

This is largely governance issue and not corporate. Korean officials largely undereducated and lack integrity as those in Singapore where they sack officials if even involved in marital affairs NATIONALLY.

Meaning weaker and ineffective. The last great battle they fought in Afghan was absolute humiliation. With peak of 400K troops station in Afghan for near 2 decades with near 10T spent with 1 single objective to remove Taleban. They return home fleeing in great Kabul flee incident gifting countless high tech weapons there to Talebans (to resold to Russians and Chinese). Trained 10K Afghanis commandos to join as mercs worldwide or seeded next round of 911 2.0 in USA. Tactics and weapon severely destroyed by Russians shovels (some American troops got slaughtered there as well under the guise of mercs). Talk about Syria, even more humiliating. The ops there when needed, actually had to request permissions with Wagners general there (not even Russian MoD). Cheaper? They win a war first, then we see and evaluate. As current standing, they are at best 3rd or 4th army in the world in actual combat.

Influential, yes. Best? Depends on which major. If you are into political science not related to American political scene, uSA easily ranked bottom few. If you are talking about economics, depend on which school. I know some organization will filter you out if you from Chicago school.

Vote democrats and you get Barry's infamous those jobs never coming back. We know Biden is more popular and the actual real McCoy behind Obama votes result. People voted Biden and not Barry. Sure miss Trump. That guy really an economic powerhouse. Any economist graduated with just AP Economy can easily beat that old guy.

China do have CIA-Gestapo-like agents operating abroad to kidnap those individuals. It is way more effective than the one used by Mossad or CIA. What we have heard of infamous Putin polonium was pale in comparisons to Chinese agents network. The closest to the strength and execution of these operations would be how NK dispensed the brother in Malaysia. CIA or FSB-KGB or Mossad cannot match how clean the ops carried out. Till today, vast majority still think it was done purely by NK and couldnt even pin down a single NK agent. While routinely, we get to know who did what on CiA/KGB/Mossad ops.
