I am on H1B visa with I-140 approved. My country of origin is India and I am on EB2 category with long wait times. If I happen to move back to India, will I loose my I-140? I am planning to move back to India and work on a startup but want to see if I can keep my I-140 if I happen to come back to US after few years.
Move to a new city or probably a new country. That will pull you out of boredom. I am also stuck in a rut right now but I did these about 3 times in my career till now. I remember I felt the most excitement at work and in life when I am in a new city and new environment.
Not just that, CA has 11% state tax. If you move a state with lesser state tax you will save on top of that. Most people are moving to Nevada which has no state tax. This could be huge saving.
It is surprising as well as depressing that someone can get enough money to buy a house from OnlyFans payout. Goes to say how many people spend money on that kind of stuff. Instagram models living rich lifestyle is different as they endorse products and advertising is involved. This is just people paying to watch someones naked photos.
It depends a lot on the app your building. If you are a startup, it definitely is much easier to build a monolith and focus on the product features. Micro-Services may not have that much upfront cost of building but as your product grows it requires lot of engineering effort and budget to maintain it. You can have an engineering team of 20 people maintaining a monolith which can serve few million customers. The same product broken into micro-services will require 4-5 teams of 8 people. It is much easier to hire for a single skillset and grow the team.
