Yeah, I think I'm a bit of a power user. I watch a lot of videos for class and projects. I blew through the nudging phase to the three strikes phase fairly quickly. I'd consider paying for it, but I think it's very overpriced, even for the student price. Spotify/Hulu combo is cheaper with a student discount than YouTube's, for comparison.

Not just nagging. I've been fully blocked. I guess my crime of watching videos to help with my college study was too much to bear for YouTube. I had to install a greasemonkey script to inject the embedded version to avoid the block.

I was going to comment this as well. Here is a thorough explanation of the missing term: https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/143652/is-e2-mc2... The thing that I love about this formulation of the equation is that it directly ties it to the Pythagorean theorem: c^2 = a^2 + b^2 . It really shows you just how pretty that equation really is!

There's a similar problem with Netflix. They are so cancel-happy with shows if the numbers aren't hit worthy, that it caused people to avoid new Netflix shows (why invest in something that'll probably get cancelled), causing a negative feedback loop.

Because who would serve them their fast food and receive unwanted abuse if not some miserable wretch who isn't allowed to die? I wonder what the working pool would look like if a policy like this were adopted.
