They're unable to handle their child pornography problem but they can still find the resources to rig democracies.

Why people let any of their software near their computers is a very interesting psychology problem.

This takes surprisingly little precision, you really exhale quite a lot of mass over 8 hours.

Tinder does have a web interface, so does doordash (I've never head of Gojek but I'd imagine it does too.)

I thought WhatsApp also had a web interface but I wouldn't use it anyway and there are similar chat apps that do so why would you?

Maybe something to do with household cleanliness? I know when I go into dirty buildings my allergies mess me up.

Does the perspective on the boundary matter if the end result is that you can't cross it?

I'm still not convinced Python's syntax is great for beginners.

So tinder is essentially iPimp at this point, except the women get 0%.

Who the hell would pay google for youtube? Anything worth watching is on patreon so you can just watch it there if you want to pay for something without dealing with all of Google's crap.

Yeah, if there's an alternative with functioning scrollbars people will probably use that instead. It's always surprising how popular screwing with basic UI elements like that always becomes.

Never, they make way to much money and have an incredible amount of power over developers by keeping it disabled.

People just leave you out of group chats if you don't have an iPhone now because building a decent chat application for iOS is too fucking hard.

I would argue cars are still mostly a disaster. They're not good for the environment, they partitioned neighboorhoods, they're very dangerous (the biggest non-disease killer of younger people before drugs), and they're another thing poor people end up having to buy and owe payments on every month.

Something to remember is that these sorts of things happen in many organizations.

You should always verify the data you get, be careful with complex supply chains, and avoid binaries you didn't build yourself. Don't skip these things just because "that's the way it's always been done." 10 years ago very little internet traffic was encrypted, security still means progress not the status quo.
